How to Prepare for a Job Interview

Employers interview to find out more about your skills and also to assess your potential “fit” within their organization. The preparation you do before an interview will help you anticipate the questions you will be asked, prepare your responses and think about what you will ask the employer to demonstrate your interest in the position. Participants will practice typical interview questions (“What are your strengths and weaknesses?”) and will be provided with resource information for researching company information.

Presented by Paulette Johnston, a program manager in co-operative education at SFU and continuing studies instructor at UBC, who has facilitated numerous workshops on career related topics.
