Opened in late 2007, the centrally located 40,000 sq. ft. Lynn Valley Main Library combines dramatic visual appeal with environmentally-friendly features and the latest in technology. Enjoy chat and read spaces, quiet study areas, automated check-outs, an audio listening stations and a computer lab. There is a children’s area on the first floor with cozy window seating, and a teen area on the second floor. We also have a fantastic selection of books, music, movies, magazines, newspapers and much more. Packed with environmentally-friendly features, the Library is also a leading-edge green building that sets a new standard for civic buildings on the North Shore. English Conversation Corner

Practise and improve your English language skills in a fun group of new speakers at weekly English Conversation Corners held at the Community Room, Lynn Valley Village. Knowledge of some English is required to participate.

Parent-Child Mother Goose at Lynn Valley Main Library

The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® is a fun group experience for parents and their babies (from birth to 12 months) that focuses on the pleasure and power of learning rhymes, songs and stories.
