Rumors is a book full of amazingly strong characters, unpredictable twisting plots, and historically accurate details that make this story all the more believable. From the second I started the prologue, I was hooked, and wondering where Anna Godbersen was taking this book. It seemed that every chapter held new and exciting information that made Rumors impossible to put down. Rumors is book two in the The Luxe series. I honestly think that it is even better than the first book, The Luxe. At the end of the story, I wanted to read the next book, Envy, so much, that I could hardly bring myself to start a different book. As much as I try to critique and find faults in this story, I can find none. It is a book of great caliber to be enjoyed by all who read it.
